 In reading- language arts, we will work on identifying important details from text, pictures and online.  We will use these identified details to determine the central message or main topic/idea of the piece.  Capitalization, punctuation and spelling will also be explored.
In social studies we will discuss the similarities and differences of various cultures, traditions, celebrations and human wants vs. needs.  We will ask questions as to the role environment plays in all of these.
In science we will work with magnet and motion concepts.
