We are making it through a cold/fever bout satisfactorily.  It is hard to be sick and then come back to school out of the loop.  Some assignments will be missed and we will do our best to fill in the important blanks.

Many of us will be traveling near and far in the upcoming weeks.  Be safe and soak up the different cultures!  How are the same as ours?  How are they different from ours?

We will identify the various symbols, colors, foods, clothes and traditions for various holidays using a comparison chart to jot notes on while viewing videos and listening to stories about celebrations around the world.

We have 2-3 weeks left of marking period 2 left in January.  Look for a wintery paper coming home with the measurement topics for our January units.  Some of described below.
