Halloween Fun!

That was fun!  Thanks to all of the parents who came and helped us prepare for the parade and to make and design those yummy cookies!  Thank you for the water to help wash them down too!  I know trick-or-treating will be loads of fun.  Keep warm and I'll see many of you at MY door!

Ant farm, food plates, plant cycles, US symbols, nouns, verbs and adjectives oh my!

Ok, so NOW we know that we can't just catch ants while outside at recess.  An honest to goodness ant farm needs a queen and her OWN drones.  Ms. Wolohojian, (our biology and all things bug expert...see previous post,) is in the process of acquiring these for us.

A study of plant cycles is beginning. We are asking how certain foods get to our tables.  There are a LOT of steps!
